Is cat6 Ethernet Cable and cat6 550 MHz snagless patch cable same?
For the most part, yes. You won’t see any performance difference between the two. Anything rated over 500MHz is tested to a higher rate than necessary, but that is actually meaningless in all but the most unusual situations involving equipment configured to deviate from standards.
The only other potential differences are in the design of the boot around the connector and, potentially, the material that the cable jacket is manufactured from. Snagless cables are designed to not catch and break the locking clip that holds the connector into the jack when they are pulled backward through a tangle of other cables. The differences in jacket material are designed to comply with certain environmental hazards or safety regulations, and won’t matter much for indoor use in a home environment.
