with a nic card and default mb network port,how to use one of them for internet and other one to lan a frnd?
As I have two ports I want to use one for internet and the other for lan with a friend.But I am facing several problems.The line is crossover,and my internet connection is working,am also getting my friend to share and everything but whenever trying to play a game nothing shows.And all was done to play over lan.

Either way, your network settings have to match. If you insist on using your 2nd NIC and a crossover cable, then make sure your LAN NIC is set to a different subnet than the Internet NIC. Then make sure your friend’s PC is in the same subnet.
